Portraits of rocks are sprinkled throughout my photography archive taken from various travels and hikes, both near and far. Over time, the images have evolved to be autobiographical, telling my history of where and when akin to a journal. Layering the formations onto previously unfinished works only deepens this link to my past experiences. The shifts in altering the same formations create a metaphor for cyclical continuity; the past continues to reveal itself to us in both extraordinary and subtle ways.
